Tattoo removal advice? plz help

I had a tattoo on my neck (solid black) that I'm starting to worry that it goes against my faith(even before I got saved I was thinking of covering it up due to it being unsymmetrical) and I'm looking into getting it removed I was wondering if y'all wonderful lady's had any advice or stories about removing tattoos like should I get a cream or Lazer.. Im sorry I'm really helpless and clueless in this topic since I'm pro tattoo.
