Naturally inducing labor?

Question

First pregnancy, and hoping to get things moving. I'm currently 37 weeks. 
In your experience what has helped you not go over your due date??
What has worked best for you to move along labor or to help induce on your own???
Did you all find it helpful if you walk every day now at 37 weeks???

Nipple stimulation is the only scientifically proven aid. That said, sex helped.
You are only 37 weeks so let your body cook for a few more weeks if possible. My baby girl was a premmie and if I could have cooked her longer I would have

Red raspberry leaf tea tones your uterus and makes contractions more effective. Primrose oil tablets soften your cervix. My water broke on my due date and I had my daughter the next day, vaginally. I always joke that my pedicure caused my labor! Deep squats and bouncing on a yoga ball also help put baby in a good position. I don’t think walking really does much except get you tired and keep you in shape- but being outdoors is good for you.

Red raspberry leaf tea doesn’t encourage early labour or bring labour on. It just tones your uterus muscles in preparation for labour. 
Same as sperm - it just ripens the cervix. 
I tried almost everything with my first, bumpy car rides, bouncing on exercise balls, etc. (not the dangerous stuff like drinking castor oil) I still went up until 40w2d.
I read that cinnamon can encourage labour. I steeped cinnamon sticks and drank it. Went to bed and woke up in labour. Not sure if t helped or was coincidence though. 
But I have learnt, baby won’t come til babies ready. And a forced labour is an uncomfortable one. Your body needs to be ready. You can’t change fate 🤷‍♀️ enjoy and appreciate your pregnancy while you’ve got it. You’ll miss it almost immediately ❤️
