Hey ladies, how long should I wait to take a test after conceiving? (Sorry random question)

It depends on when you implant. Majority of people won implant between 7-12 days post ovulation. It then takes a few days after that for HCG levels to rise in ur body, enough for a test to detect. So it doesn’t matter how many days before AF you are, it just matters how many days after ovulation u are - and ultimately implantation. 
If u implant early, you’ll get a positive around 9, 10, 11dpo. If u implant later, u won’t get one until 12-15dpo, which is around when AF is typically due.

you usually have about 2 weeks between ovulation and first day of period. so id say wait 2 weeks, then test. you usually implant between 6-12dpo (days past ovulation) and it takes a couple days after implantation for your hcg to build up enough to show on a test. so testing too soon can lead to a false negative.
