24 & scared to get pregnant

Anybody else married and start to worry about getting pregnant. Me and my husband have been together for almost 6 years but have been married for 2 years. I have had bad baby fever for the last couple of months & really want one, but I am super afraid that I’m not ready for it. He is in the police academy & i am scared that we won’t be able to support a child. I do overthink things often but just scared our life will change and not for the good. Like tonight we were having sex & he was about to cum but at the last second I told him not to cum in me. I just don’t know what to do.
