No body, no parole. ⚠️ potential TW
On July 29th, 1999, 17 year old Hayley Dodd went missing whilst she was hitch-hiking in Badgingarra, Western Australia.
Francis John Wark, a convicted rapist, was accused of murdering Hayley.
Today he was found guilty of her murder. He will be sentenced next week.
Hayley’s body has never been recovered.
In Western Australia, we have “no body, no parole” legislation, meaning, unless convicted murderers co-operate with police to find the remains of their victims, they won’t be eligible for parole.
My questions are:
1. Do you agree with “no body, no parole?”
2. Do you have similar laws where you live?
3. If not, do you think these laws should be introduced where you live?
RIP Hayley 🙏🏼❤️
