Health Problems and Working
Just need to vent and curious if any others are in the same kind of position.
So I’m 22, I have Multiple Sclerosis, I’ve been diagnosed for almost 2 years. But I had my first signs of it at 14. I have Anxiety due to how much steroids I’ve been on through my life. And I’m just an anxious person. I see a therapist bc I have Dad issues. I have stomach problems and allergy and asthma on top of it all.
With medication I generally stay healthy, and feeling great. I just got a new job a couple months ago and their probationary period is 6 months. Ive already had to leave a few times for doctors appointments and once because of an emergency at my house when I had just moved.
My question is how do they expect me to go to the dr. I was told I could go on my lunch break it’s only an hour. Or before or after work as I work 8-4:30. Most of my Drs offices last appointments at 4:30. And I can’t just switch doctors bc of my medical history. I’ve already been told not to miss much more of possible. I’m just stuck in this situation and not sure what to do.
I guess my only option is to skip my Drs appointments for the next 3 months until my probationary period is over...
