Feeling heartbroken....

Sorry about the long rant.... My period is 27 days late. I took 7 at home pregnancy tests, first response and cheap dollar tree ones, all negative. still wasn't getting my period so I went in for blood tests. They did blood work and ordered for an ultrasound. I went in and did blood work the first thing the next day because I needed to fast and the soonest they could get me in for ultrasound is next Friday. I am still waiting on the blood work from the doctor, but I was having cramping for the last 3 days. usually I cramp the day before or the morning of my period but then I always get it right away full force. I had a light bit of blood last night with one medium blood clot so I called my Dr. This morning to see if they got the blood work back. She said they havent but the doctor insisted I go to the ER and be evaluated for miscarriage. They did blood work at the hospital only to say that I am not pregnant at all. I don't know why I even expected it to come back positive. basically my mother in law and step mom had me absolutely convinced I was and now I just feel so so stupid. The icing on the cake was how we were told. 😭😭 The lady seemed to have forgotten that I told her we were actually TRYING for a family and she was like "good news! You're not pregnant" and then made a joke how mu husband made an excited face when she came out and that he looked relieved and we were both just quiet and she was like "I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing" so I said "well we were actually trying to get pregnant so this is a bad thing." 😭 we've both just been crying all night feeling like we were so close to a positive. i feel so stupid for thinking I might have been pregnant... 😭😭
