C-section😩/birth story💙

My due date was January 7th and I was scheduled to be induced on the 16th. On the 11th went to see my doctor, she checked his heartbeat and it was kinda low, so they did an ultrasound and everything checked out ok but she wanted me to come the next day to the the other office for a stress test. So that Friday the 12th my appointment was at 9:30 I was nervous because I just wanted my baby boy to be ok, nurse comes in checks my blood pressure and it was super high (I’ve never had high blood pressure) then they did an ultrasound to measure my baby and he was fine, back to the room to start the stress test and it was going fine had to stay on there for 30 minutes so after it was done nurse checks my blood pressure again and no change, still high. Doctor comes in and tells me that she want me to go the hospital because they’re gonna go ahead and induce me. Start me on pitocin when I got there and that didn’t make me dilate so then I get cervidil and that started my contractions and made me dilate a little, that morning on the 13th they take it out go back to pitocin and I start dilating faster at 4 centimeter I get my epidural and then she breaks my water and when I got to 5 almost 6 centimeters I basically stopped dilating I was stuck there for about 4 hours and as she’s checking she notices his face is upward and his heart rate was a little low and my blood pressure was still high so she made the call to do a c-section I immediately cried but I had my mom and sister there to comfort me and my nurses and doctor was very nice to me and she asked me did I wanna go ahead or wait an hour or 2 I said go ahead I was so ready to meet my little man but the c-section was horrible worst pain of my life my epidural started to fade away so I felt her slightly cut me and I told them I could feel everything and they gave me more but they couldn’t give me too much until the baby was out so I stuck it out held my mom and anesthesiologist hand the whole time and I prayed and when I heard him cry all the pain went away and the only thing I could think about was holding my baby, but they had to take him away because he was breathing fast but soon as they got up there he was fine and they gave me medicine and it honestly felt like I passed out, I was in recovery for an hour and my mom was able to take pictures and show me since I didn’t get a chance to see him but finally I was able to go upstairs and hold my baby baby, born at 6:11 pm weighing in at 6 pounds 14.7 ounces and 20 inches long.
