Book recommendations?

Question

Any book recommendations for how to raise a baby? Like how do people know how to do this stuff. I'm 18 weeks and freaking out. How often do you feed a baby? How do you know when to give them different kinds of food, etc. I need a baby instruction manual!!!

Happiest Baby on the Block is a good one, but honestly you learn as you go. When it’s your own baby you quickly learn their cues. If the baby is crying you either need to feed her, change her diaper, or hold her for cuddles. Find a good pediatrician because she will be a great resource for you. The hospital nurses will also give you tips.

Mayo clinic guide to your baby's first year . It is written by physicians who are parents as well . The book covers everything from breast feeding, to hospital care and each month of age .

raising a child is more of an on the job training program. it is a lot of trial and error. it takes time but you will figure it out. listen to your gut. you will know what to do.

there are a ton best to read a little of everyone. each author has their own philosophies on parenting and you will have to scower through the infformation and determine where you stand on each topic. it can be daunting but just take it a step at a time

😂😂 there’s not a single book out there that’s going to pertain to YOUR child. I promise to that. I own zero parenting books. It’s natural instinct. I don’t need a book or an online forum to tell me to feed my child when she’s hungry. I know what rashes look like. I know a common cold isn’t worth a trip to the ER. It’s really not THAT hard. I feel that a lot of moms really overthink it. But I’ve never googled anything parenting wise or bought an books or any of that. I’ve honestly just used basic common sense and natural instinct.
