Am I being over emotional or not?

My boyfriend has an existing back injury from his days playing sports competitively and ever so often he would be in some pain. As of right now he works for a company that requires him to do a fair amount of heavy lifting which has caused him to develop a shoulder injury as well.

Unfortunately, he had a very strenuous work day a couple days ago lifting some pretty heavy material with little to no help at all for the entire day and now his back, both shoulders and arms are sore ofc but I’ve never him in so much pain with regard to his shoulder.

Then he proceeded to tell me that he thinks it’s dislocated but then refuses to get it checked out by a doctor ASAP because he doesn’t want to miss work. I just wanna know if I’m overreacting by being as upset as I am or not. I feel like I shouldn’t have to beg him to take care of himself you know?
