Cysts?

Question

I’ve been noticing lately that only during my fertile window each month that I have a pressure/pain on my left side, like lower abdomen but over just a bit. I am due for a doctor visit so I’m going next week. I didn’t mean to, but I ended up on the internet searching my symptoms! I’m really nervous it may be ovarian cysts or something worse.:( Has anyone else had any experience with this kind of pain during their fertile days?

I get some pretty intense ovulation cramps!! Usually for about 3 days.

I’ve had both an ovarian cyst that burst and ovulation cramps, neither are fun! I had the cyst a few years ago, and it felt like you described but over a few hours got worse and worse so I was hunched over and just in a ton of pain, went to the ER and they did the ultrasound and said it was a ruptured cyst-no long term effects. With the ovulation cramps I thought it was another cyst the first time, they do feel really similar except the cramps never increase to that intense doubled over pain. The fact that yours is regularly happening over your ovulation window makes it seem likely that it’s just the cramps. My doctor at the time said it can just happen randomly and does tend to stick to one side. Still mention it at your appointment, but that’s probably all it is!

I just got my first ovulating pain I  researched everything about this. It can be a cyst that causes it but if it’s reoccurring get checked out immediately because the reasons why are scary. (ovulating pain is not normal!!!!)
