At what age did you start potty training?

My little is 2 years old (28 months old if you want exact age) We tried to start potty training but she’s now not going unless forced to sit on the toilet and I don’t want to pressure her to use it or create resistance.  So I think we will take a break on potty training.

my daughter is 1. we started about a month ago. I figure where she's so young, we're just gonna take our time with it. she pees and poops on her potty more days than not first thing in the morning. other than that time it's pretty hit or miss. I let her choose between diaper and pull up and I can actually tell what kind of day it will be by what she chooses (diapers = poops that happen fast with no warning 😂 pull ups = she's got about a 50% chance of going on the potty again after lunch) I think if your daughter is resisting definitely ease up for a few weeks and try again. we all figure it out eventually!

My daughter is the same age and she has no real interest. She doesn't tell me she has to go yet and isn't interested in sitting on the potty for any significant amount of time. She does like to flush the toilet after I go and we talk about it often, but I'm not going to push it. We're expecting another baby in July and I thought I might try before then, but I'm afraid of regression after baby comes and not having time to retrain. I think I'll just try to follow her lead and see how it goes as she approaches her third birthday. Most kids don't potty train until closer to three anyway so don't feel like you're falling behind.

I started my daughter at 18 months because she showed signed of being ready. At first I had to put her on the toilet ever other hour and wait for her to potty, if she peed her panties I’d bring her to the toilet and put her on it as fast as possible then praise her and give a candy of her choice. She HATED peeing on herself obviously so she picked it up pretty fast. I had her potty trained by 2 1/2 years. 🙃

I was lucky with my older child he hated pampers and pull ups when he hit the 1 year old so i starter potty training he got it pretty fast. You can start now

First was day and night trained at 18 months.
Second was day trained at 23 months, and night trained by 3 years. He’s a deep sleeper, so he would pee without waking up. 
Third was day and night trained by 17 months.

My nephews parents tried potty training him at 2 and never wanted to do it. So maybe wait for awhile longer and maybe she’ll do it later.

I'm potty training my daughter right now she's 19 months. not pressuring her and taking it easy she's doing great and let's me know when she needs to go most of the time:)

My daughter showed interest a couple months ago, but between the two of us, it's nearly impossible to do the watching-a-naked-baby for the WHOLE day every day for a week.  And she kindof got put off when she sat down to try to poo in the potty and had the WORST constipation ever. Now she seems scared of it.

My mom trained my first child at the age of 1. My second child started being trained at the age of 2. I plan to train my third child by the age of 2 as well or once he starts taking off his diaper whichever comes first which is a sign they are ready to learn how to use the potty.
