Advice For A Clingy Baby? 😭

I swear I’ve tried it all. I literally pee and eat once a day when she finally falls asleep because she’s so clingy. Cleaning or anything else is never going to happen at this point. I’ll probably end up saying “I’ve already tried that” to a lot of stuff but any advice would help! The only way she sits in anything is by me still keeping a hand on her

Have you tried a sling? My daughter lived in one for her first few months, that's how I got anything done. Apart from that I just held her all day, I never wanted to put her down haha

my baby was like this when he was ill. which is fine, I just popped him in a baby carrier and we were both happy as larry.
however, sometimes if there is no reason why the baby is crying, plug your ears and leave baby to cry. if in ten minutes, still crying, go in, cuddle and check their bum isn't wet and start again. it's going to be hard, I cried the first time I let my son fall asleep on his own without breastfeeding him to sleep. he cried for five minutes and then fell asleep. meanwhile, I cried for about an hour.
sometimes you need to. a baby cannot be happy if you aren't. and part of being happy is sleeping enough.
you gotta get bubba in to a good routine. don't give up.

My mom used to let me fall asleep with the shirt that she wore the day before so that i would feel like she was there it worked i was super clingy and my bestfriend tried it with my nephew and it helped a lot ! Either that or the cry it out method . I know a lot of people are against it but sometimes it’s the only thing that works .

Oh honey get yourself a good wrap.   Strap that baby to you and keep going.   Take it in stride and take a big breath.   The mess will still be there when she is too big to want cuddles.   Before you know it they are 16 asking about getting a job to start saving for a car (and you sit and wonder how am I old enough to have a 16 yr old who graduates high school June of 2019)

You could try a comfort item, such as a specific blanket or stuffed animal that she can always have with her, you could try sit me ups or different things to set her in so she can see you better. Or you could try baby wearing, which only works so much because she was still be clingy. With my son I just slowly adjusted him so spending time by himself while I did things like dishes and eating. Or if I was cooking dinner I would put his little bumbo seat up so he could watch me and it seemed to help a lot.
