School and the future

Just yesterday I had my first midterm test in Algebra and I’m so afraid that I got a bad score. My teacher said that if we get lower than an 80% then we’ll have to retake that class in 9th grade(I’m in advance classes) and I really don’t want to have to retake that class. I know I definitely got at least one wrong because I forgot to circle another one of the answers.

Another thing I’m really stressed about is colleges and what I want to do with my life. I know lots of people might think that it’s too early to stress about this but I’ve worried about colleges since 5th grade and I feel like time is just passing by too fast. I’m worried that if I try and follow my dreams by doing what I want in life I’ll get nowhere, but I’m also worried that if I just do what my parents did, then I’ll end up like them, working in a small cubicle doing what I hate and stressing all the time.
