Left my job to stay home with her. All my money would have went to daycare so I might as well be with her

My mother in law is watching my baby until the summer. Then I will be home for 2 month (I’m a teacher). After the summer we are either going to get an au pair or hire a local nanny. I can’t see putting my baby in a daycare where he doesn’t get individual attention.

We’re doing daycare. It’s a pretty small facility with only about 40-50 kids total. They have the best staffing ratios in town and I love that there are cameras for me to check on him.
