Successful VBAC anyone?

Has anyone had a successful VBAC ( vaginal birth after csection) ? I had one 9 years ago and now I’m pregnant with my second! Doctors make it seem impossible so if you had one, was it through hospital or midwife/birthcenter?

I did! my twins were an emergency c section, I had my VBAC not quite 2 years later. it's 100% doable and supported by ACOG. find a supportive doctor is the priority. not one who will let you "try", one who fully supports. ask them whay their c section rate is. avoid anyone over 15%. and educate yourself! it was totally worth it. I needed an induction at 35 weeks for medical reasons, and it was still worth it. I delivered at an in hospital birth center attended by midwives please hit me with any questions, I'm a huge VBAC advocate.

My sister-law-had an emergency C-section almost 4 years ago when her labor didn't progress and both she and the baby developed infections (both she and baby were fine soon after birth). Her 72 hours of labor were so difficult she wasn't sure if she would ever want to go through it again. She just gave birth to the most beautiful little girl this past December, all natural, no issues. Her doctor had scheduled a C-section for the day after her due date, but the baby came 2 weeks early all on her own!
