Anybody been to Disney World?

My boyfriend and I love theme parks. Last year we went to Universal/Islands of Adventure for 4 days, but it really should’ve been 2 because 4 was too much for only two parks. We wanna go to Disney in early March, Magic Kingdom, haven’t been there in so many years. (Orlando). Any recommendations on hotels, restaurants, etc? Thanks!

I’ve been twice with my parents and siblings (6 people total). What I remember my parents doing was renting a house outside of Disney world. It’s significantly more expensive to stay in the parks. And as our family was so big renting a house was cheaper than 2 hotel rooms. Fast passes are also great- you don’t need them for every ride, just the ones that have really long lines and you really want to go on those rides. You also want to get to the park before it opens and then go straight to the big rides before the lines get really long. Also having lunch outside of normal lunch time is a little helpful for avoiding lines as well. Bringing lunch was also a money saver than eating lunch in the parks every day. 
My family did one day for each of the parks and then had 1/2 days at the end to go back to our favourites or to go to universal studies or sea world. My parents planned out which rides to hit first (there’s some really good guide books/websites on that) to help avoid lines. Of course we didn’t stick to the plan all the time, but it helped. Also if there are characters you want to see you want to get their schedule so you can plan to be around that area otherwise you can miss them.

how long do you want to stay? and will you be doing all the parks? 
I like to stay on property, that way you can take advantage of the bus service, and magical hours. 
their website is really easy to use. 
pop century is a great lower budget hotel, that's still pretty close to the action. (unlike the all stars that are farthest away) 
make sure to schedule your fast passes for each park because it comes in super handy.
think about a good package of your staying on property the whole time. we go with the cheapest and it works well with us. 
park hoppers aren't a must, but if you have the extra cash I would do it! I loved spending lunch in Epcot, and jumping to Hollywood studios for starwars fire works.

My husband and I have been to Disney World twice (we have no kids) and we love it and will go back! 
We both love Disney things, so even though Magic Kingdom doesn't have super thrilling rides, it is still fun for us. 
Epcot is great if you love food and culture and shows (not many rides) and I would recommend going to Epcot. 
All of the parks have spectacular fireworks shows at night! Closer to your trip dates you can see what shows will happen each night, so you can make sure not to miss the ones you want. 
We've always stayed at an All-Star hotel, because it was cheapest. The downside is they are farther away, but we didn't care (there's still a shuttle to all the parks). Since we really only went to the hotels to sleep, we didn't care about anything else they may offer.

i went to college close to there and went to disney all the time! that might be a crazy time because of spring break and stuff, so just plan accordingly :)
