7 month old laughing for no reason?

So, last night I was at my friend’s house. My 7 month old would just be laughing or making laugh-like sounds randomly while we were there for no reason. My friend (whose son was just diagnosed with Autism) said that that was the first sign of his autism during the 6-12 month stage. I didn’t think anything of it, but now today I’m giving it some thought. I figured my 7 month old was just finding her voice and trying different things with it that includes random laughs and laugh like sounds.  Anyone else’s 7 month old doing this?

Never heard of this as a sign of autism 🤷🏻‍♀️ my girl will sometimes laugh while looking at random objects, I think it’s just something developmental.

My son was laughing at his play mat that he’s been on every day since he was really little. Idk what suddenly struck him as funny 🤷🏼‍♀️
I wouldn’t worry too much about it, especially if your baby is meeting other developmental milestones. At this age they are learning so much, so fast.

My baby will laugh randomly. I think it’s part of development. And a sign that they are happy! Don’t look into too much mama! Enjoy these moments 😉

Last night my 7 month old was laughing hysterically at my 4 year old who was just sitting in a chair quietly singing a song. Babies laugh at random things, it’s totally normal (and hilarious to watch too hahahaha)

To be honest, I think this is just something babies do. My baby laughs at so many random things; the dog, shadows, the colour orange, trousers - could be that your baby saw some ‘new’ and thought it was hilarious.
