Terrible 2’s or?

So my daughter has literally because the worst little kid to deal with since her brother was born. She’s 2.5 and does nothing but scream, throw fits, refuses to potty, won’t nap, says no, and pretty much spends the majority of her time in time out because I don’t know what else to do. Advice?

And a side note-- I have a 2 year old as well, and he just became a big brother a month and a half ago. So I know. It's hard, but you need to understand that het whole world has just been turned upside down. Like for my son his everyday with just mommy and him has changed. He no longer has mommy's full attention all the time. It's hard on everyone! Mommy, but sibling, new baby, daddy, etc. I just make sure I don't ignore my son while I am holding my daughter, or that during breastfeeding my daughter I make sure I snuggle up with my son and read a book or watch a little show that he likes. I include him in as many things as I can with his new sister. I let him help with diaper changes, bath time, getting ready for the day. For example, I'll say "Kai come help mommy pick out Zoeys clothes for today, and then we'll get your clothes". Or I let him choose his own clothes for the day. Simple things that makes the big sibling feel important and not put second.

It's probably both. 2 year olds have a hard time conveying exactly what they want and it gets frustrating. And this is where they start really testing what they can and can't get away with. My daughter is not 2 yet, but has hit the terrible twos. She does everything above. bringing in an additional child is confusing. Even when you involve them in things they were still used to being the only one for a while. this is a whole new ball game. Again, it's hard to convey how a child feels at that age. I really wish you the best of luck. It will get better. Give it some time and patience. You've got this, like all the wise parents say... this too shall pass.
