Patch?

Question

Has anyone used The Patch birth control? Has it effected you in any way? Weight gain? Acne? Has it helped you’re period in any way? I’m very irregular with my period I can go months without one and was looking for advice on this type of bc since none others have worked. TIA

I love the patch, I was on the pill and it made me very sick so I tried the patch and I like it much better! I had really bad and irregular periods before any birth control and with the patch they have always been on time and my cramps have subsided a lot! The only thing I do reccommend with the patch is that you don't place it on to much of a fatter area. I had mine on my butt and it made me very sick until I moved it to my hip and never got nausea from it again!

i have been on evra for 3 montgs now .At first i broke out lightly but it has cleared now.My breasts swole up in the first month but i think they are back to their regular size now.I get nausea now whenever i am in a car .Lighter periods,i used to have cramping at least for 2 sometimes 3 days but it is only on the first day now.I was very emotional during my first month my emotions were running wild like they were in high school.
but overall it has been a good experience my body is back to normal .My only concern was the patch peeling off and then i would have to replace it like i just had to do because i tried a natural hair rinse with acv and i think the acidity loosened the patch so be orepared to use a patch a week early just in case or else you risk pregnancy .
i like to place it on my butt cheeks cuz it iratates my skin anywhere else. goodluck
