Such thing as selective reading?

Is there a such thing as selective reading or are people a little stupid? U can ask a question on here like “I’ve recently been tested for stds & all my results were negative but I have a slight smell coming from my vagina, any idea what it might be from?” Then someone will reply, “it might be a std, u should go get checked” AFTER u just made it clear u don’t have any wtf
