Just wanted to ask you ladies, now don’t be mean, I’m not into tradition, I don’t quite care for it, but I’m thinking about proposing to my boyfriend.

We’ve been together for a year 2/14/18. We’ll be celebrating at the end of the month on the 24th and he said he’s taking me to a jazz club (super excited and very romantic) and I swaying on asking him to marry me.

Now I asked his shitty friends, and for some odd reason they asked me to wait. I was going to ask him on NYE when the ball dropped, but they all told me no, and he was planning something instead.

But when the holidays came and went, with no ring I felt a tad discouraged; and pissed I didn’t go ahead with my plan. so one day I asked him if I could, and if it would “steal his thunder”. He said he didn’t think of it that way, and he was shocked I would ask (in a good way).

So I guess I’m asking you ladies, what do you think?
