i’ve been off of birth control for about 6 months now and we have sex unprotected how come i’m still not pregnant? i went to the OBGYN and they told me i was fine but i don’t see why i’m not pregnant yet 😭

It's not as easy as most people think it is to get pregnant. Try pre seed lube. You can buy it at Wal-Mart. I was trying to get pregnant with my oldest for 6 months. Decided to spend the money and get pre seed and fertili tea to see if it would help. The first month I used them I got pregnant. I only used the pre seed during my ovulation window. So I think 3 times total. My daughter will be 2 in March. Best of luck to you and baby dust❤

The healthiest couple still only has a 25% chance each cycle of getting pregnant. 
Have you used ovulation tests to see when you are ovulating? I’ve also taken mucinex while ttc.

When I went off birth control my periods changed length by about 10 days, and I realized I needed to use OPKs to make sure my fertile window was what flow predicted, once I input that information (and I used preseed too), I was successful. Good luck!

for healthy couples it takes on average 1 year to conceive so don't worry too much if your doctor said your fine
