My 7-mo hates solids, but that’s ok, right?

But that’s actually ok, too, right?
I just worry because he seems to show an interest in new foods and a few weeks ago was even grabbing the spoon to feed himself, but now he only wants to nurse all the time. In fact, I just made another post about his sudden increase in nursing and clinging to me, but I felt like this was a separate concern. I just wonder if anyone else out there has a baby with a boobs-only policy?

Babies can just have milk up until a year. Solids aren't a necessity.

I would keep introducing him to them. Have him sit with you at meals times. Let him hold silverware and or a bowl at meal times so he gets the hang of what you’re asking of him. 
But as the other poster stated, it’s not necessary. He’s getting the nutrients he needs!!

As long as he is getting enough to eat from the boob, then there really is no need for solids! Gove him some time and try again from time to time with dofferent things to see what he seems to like!

My son didn’t care for them much so I just ate my meals while I fed him and he seemed to get into the idea more. Now he’s 8 months and expects something off of my plate every meal lol.

Oh my gosh, I could have written this post! 7 month old boy, won't eat solids anymore, has upped his nursing a ridiculous amount... like he's asking for a boob once an hour! He will stop playing with his toys with me, crawl over and bury his face in my chest and whine until I nurse him. I thought his teeth are bothering him. His 5th one just cut and I can see #6 just below the surface. We've also had a little luck with Baby Led Weaning stuff like roasted sweet potato he can feed himself. It's messy, slow, and I'm not sure how much is actually making it in his belly, but at least I feel like I'm offering him real food. Maybe we are at the start of a wonder week?

My son hated puréed foods but loves eating what we eat! I just cut them into small pieces. Puréed food was a waste of money for us.
