Lump in baby’s head?

I have just noticed a pea sized small moveable lump at the lower far back of my baby’s head. You can’t physically see it but it can be felt. I am freaking out!!!!!! She is two months old

My son has a lump on the back of his head, kinda near-ish then back of his ear and the base of his skull. We told our doctor and she ordered an ultrasound. It turned out to be a small collection of fat (can’t remember the scientific term), harmless, they said he can get it removed if it ever bothers him but there’s no reason to worry about it. Tell the doctor about it.

it's probably just lymp nodes. my son had little knots behind his ears and lower back of his head to in different spots, they are lymph nodes. I had his blood taken and had them looked at multiple times because I was worried about them not going away... They are still there and he turns 4 years old this month. But u can always get it checked to be safe but I'm sure it's lymph node as well.

Hmm.. this is interesting because my son kinda has something similar. I want to ask the pediatrician about it at his 12 month appointment... at first I thought I was crazy and just over analyzing things, but he seems to have a raised bump at the back of his head near his neck. It's almost like it's just a little section of fat. I dunno, but it has me a little worried. Maybe it's normal though.

I noticed my baby had the same thing around 2 weeks. I asked out pediatrician at the 2 week check up and he said it was his lymph nodes. Totally normal.

Hi. My baby is 14 months old and has similar pea size lump on her head. We ask pediatrician during every visit. They just say it’s ok nothing to worry and it may go away with time. Her growth is good and she is an active baby. We are just keeping a track of it and hoping it may go away sometime in future.
