My bf cheated 2 months ago silly me I let him back. A week ago I was itching & buring bad in my vagina! I went to the dr, they did a swab. Today the results came back and of course the office is closed and now I'm freaking out because I read about it on google! They detected Trichomonas infection in my swab results. Does anyone have any advice about this!?!?! I have a dr apt Monday morning

It is treatable. They will give you some pills. He needs to be treated as well if you don’t want to keep passing it back and forth.

I’ve never had it, but I know it’s a very nasty parasite to have. He needs to get treated too.

i also tested postive for this last year. no idea what it is and i never had any symptoms. just found it when they did my pap smear. but they gave me a dose of medication that made me feel like absolute crap and my bf had to take it too just in case. it is considered and sti though.

I have no idea what that is!! Does your bf know you got tested? He must have it to! Hopefully its treatable. Why don't you go talk to your pharmacy. Good luck!
