7 month old with cold sore?

Question

Is this a cold sore on the outside of her lip?We don’t let anyone kiss our baby or touch her on the face, but this looks like a cold sore and has me freaking out. Advice?
*UPDATE* We did call the doctor and left a message with the answering service. The on-call pediatrician called back and said even if it is a cold sore we shouldn’t be worried. We should call back if it starts oozing or spreads. So, I guess nothing to be concerned about.
*SECOND UPDATE* It’s gone today so it wasn’t a cold sore after all.

It looks like a common lip blister from sucking on a bottle or nipple. Babies usually get them in the first few months while adjusting to eating. It’s possible your LO just got one randomly or that it’s from switching between breastfeeding and bottle feeding if you’ve recently done that. My LO is 2w old and has one. It’ll go away on its own after a few months.

Doesn't look like one, but if it is please make sure she doesn't touch it and get her to the doctor's asap. Cold sores can make babies get very sick because they're immune systems aren't fully developed yet and it effects them differently than adults.
