Getting asked to prom

I convince my bf to go but...he won’t ask me go. I was hopping he would romantically ask me go, but he doesn’t want too. I don’t want push more then I have with going prom. Took me all day to convince him go prom.🙄Like...what should I do? I’m happy he going and all, but I just wanted him ask like how everybody else at school is getting asked to go ☹️ just want memory’s. Idk, what to do? I have tried telling him but never comes out the way I want it too.
