Fertility Specialists??

Question

It’ll be a year next month since we started ttc since losing my right tube from an ectopic pregnancy.. I’ll be contacting a fertility doc next month. What should I expect?? What questions do they ask or what all do they do??? Any advice would be helpful!

I had an ectopic on my right side as well and then started to see a fertility specialist. The first visit, she just went over all of my health history and we talked about what my goal was. My right tube was not removed so she recommended an HSG to check if it was still open. They are probably going to ask your partner to have a semen analysis done before trying any treatment if that’s what your looking for. Make sure that you request to have lab work done to check all of your levels ( thyroid, progesterone, chol) mine did not ever check my lab work and I think my last miscarriage was due to low progesterone.
