We went in for Induction at 5:30am and pitocin started at 7am. I went in 3cm dilated and 50%. It helped start contractions but my doctor didn't break my water until 12:30. After that I stayed about the same as far as cm, I dilated one more cm to a 4 and became softened. They were waiting on my cervix to come completely down and in position as well as more dilation.. my epidural was in place at 4cm but after starting to numb my legs but I could still feel my cervix when getting checked and contractions were still very uncomfortable. The anesthesiologist had to give me something on top of the epidural and it worked for an hour and a half and also in that short time my cervix had dilated to a 10 & the doctor barely made it.

It was so painful I could feel it all and for me the worst part was that I had to push for an hour until she ended up helping me by vacuum. He was so worth every second of pain. I give huge props to moms (like our elders) who gave birth to more than one or two completely naturally and push forever too.

Yes beautiful and looks and acts just like his daddy.
