Adopting when you are fertile

I hope I can post this in this group... My husband and I are thinking about adoption even though we can have our own kids. We are 29 and 32. We have our own house and make enough money to provide for a family. We just feel like why should we have one of our own when there are so many children out there who need care and love. What are your opinions about this? Thanks for letting is know!
