Frustrated and I need opinions

I am on CD 42, been having slight cramping for about 4 days now, AF was due around the 25th of January (my last period came Christmas Day). Just took a test (dollar brand?) and got a BFN. I’m pretty much a little over a week late at this point and idk what to do. I guess it’s worth mentioning that I believe I had EWCM around the time AF was due, so could have just ovulated late? But if so, should I be having these light cramps? I’m so frustrated. I welcome any opinions. Thank you.
