I’m scared to have sex?

Hi I’m 17 years old and I’m scared to have sex. Everyone my age has had sex already, when my friends talk about having sex with there boyfriends or girlfriends I get kinda embarrassed because I’ve never done it. They talk about there favorite positions and I don’t even want to show anyone my own body because I’m scared that if I show someone before we have sex he may just walk out on me. I’m scared that I’m going to be 30 and never have sex because I don’t have the guts to even start talking to someone because I’ve never done that either and I’m scared to fuck it up. What should I do?

i’m turning 19 in a few weeks and i’m still a virgin 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t even care tbh i’m good with waiting till the perfect moment. And trust me, when you meet someone who loves you, they will love your body just the way it is. There is no reason to rush or to feel guilty about not doing it yet. Everyone does things at their own pace.

I’m in my thirties and was the last in my group of friends to loose my virginity (they lost theirs In their teens) I’m so happy I waited for the love of my life. I have lots of female friends and family and can honestly say I’ve never come across anyone who wishes they’d lost their virginity sooner only those who wish they’d waited longer. Don’t rush anything, enjoy being young and free and concentrate on yourself and education, and happiness. Everything else will come all too soon trust me x

This was me a few weeks ago so i lost it to somebody after 2 weeks of talking to him. Everyone was calling me a nun and saying who is 18 and a virgin because I’m about to be 18 and i just lost it because. After losing it I realized people make it a big deal for nothing and I shouldn’t of felt like I wasn’t missing out on much because I wasn’t. And also when they say feelings makes it better it’s true because I didn’t really feel much after 2 weeks but it went fine just not magical like everyone makes it seem. Hope this helps

Guuuuurl you need to relax. You aren’t the only one who hasn’t had sex yet. Im 18 and I haven’t, and most of my friends haven’t either. And just for the record it doesn’t matter at what age you have sex. It matters if you’re comfortable and ready to take that step or not, and believe me sweetie you’re not, and that’s fine too. Don’t let society and friends pressure you into doing something you aren’t ready for. Would you want your daughter to do it when she’s not ready? And believe me, a person’s first experience with sex makes a different and can set the tone for how one approaches it for the rest of their lives, so rushing into it just to say youve done it makes no logical sense. You have to live with your actions, not your friends. I mean some of your friends may even regret it, and are just trying to cover it up with bravado. At the end of the day, you just need to get more comfortable with yourself. There’s no way sex will be enjoyable, or even really plausible, if you can’t enjoy yourself first. Take a deep breath. You’ll be okay.

girl just wait until marriage and when you find the right guy who will wait gladly who won't pressure you Hun. forcing yourself to do it before you're ready or because it's a burden you want to get off your chest will only cause regret. you're too young and your friends are as well, if they even dare to judge you or make fun of you find new better friends. sex at that age isn't really worth the risks. if you ever do decide to have sex tho do your research lots of it learn the risks and Consequences that come from it get condoms lube and maybe other forms of birth control and make sure you're ready. personally I'd just get a toy and not have sex so you can find out what you like and satisfy yourself. but at this age with immature boys they will probably leave and are probably not looking for a long term relationship so unless if you get very very lucky and find a husband material kind of guy in highschool it'd be best to wait either way. I guess to sum up the important parts I'm trying to say is don't do anything before you are 100% sure you are ready, educate yourself, and have protection. I hope this helps you..

You’ll be fine and when you’re ready, you won’t be scared. Nervous maybe, but not scared. Plus, your 17. What’s the rush?

I can think of a million things  better than an orgasm and, while sex is fun and great and all that jazz, it's definitely overrated. It's nothing to be scared of on it's own, it's the things that happen afterward that can be scary (STDs, children, one-sided attachment (from you OR them)). Go with vibes. If you're comfortable, then go for it. And not forcefully comfortable, I mean real life calm and comfy and it feels natural. Fuck what everyone else is doing. Btw I'm 19. 
P.S. 
when you do get around to having sex and you're comfortable (that's the biggest thing), contrary to belief, it hurts less if you start off riding (kinda like they say it's more ideal to give birth on all fours instead of on your back because when you're on your back, the opening of the vagina isn't as open as it could be, causing more pressure). For me it didn't hurt at all. Keep in mind that everyone is different though.

As cheesy as it sounds, be yourself. I'm sure you're a wonderful person.When you're ready you'll know. Peer pressure can suck but it's not worth it most of the time. And the truth is it's just high school. Years from now most of the people talking about sex will look back and wonder why they made their personal lives so public.

I felt the same way at first but don't stress it . When it happens it will happen no matter the age . It doesn't matter . When you find someone right you'll know and you won't feel scared . Just be patient and don't worry just because you're friends are doing it that you have to do it too . Because tbh at the end of the day if you did it just because you're friends did it it wouldn't make yourself feel good and that's the first thing to sex is to make sure yourself feels comfortable and good in every way  no matter what !!
