Induction nerves

I am currently 39.4 and have diet controlled GDM. My doctor has me doing an NST on Thursday and if everything is fine after the test I will be induced on Sunday evening. If anything is abnormal I will be induced on Thursday. All of sudden I am so anxious about everything! I’m so excited to meet our baby but I’ve been having bouts of anxiety the past two days 😫 I think a lot of it has to do with our overbearing families. This is the first grandchild so I understand everyone is excited but everyone keeps calling trying to figure out what time they can take off to be there for the birth. I’ve made it pretty clear that we’d initially like our privacy and I don’t feel like anyone is understanding! Who knows may be it’s just hormones making me upset and nervous.

I haven’t been nervous about the big day this whole pregnancy but maybe now that I have a potential date it’s sinking in. Venting done. 😳
