Ending breastfeeding...

I am wondering when is a good time to ween my son off of breastfeeding. He is 5 months now and I never intended to go past a year with him. Just my personal preference, please don’t try to sway me on this. I love my son and I want what’s best for him but I also need to do what’s right for me. Anyway, I have a really good stash of milk right now because I stay home so I rarely use what I pump. My son has started eating baby food, only like twice a day though. I was going to ask my doctor her opinion on this but I wanted to ask other breastfeeding moms because I am not so sure my doctor has ever breastfed. I don’t plan to stop just yet, but I wanted to get an idea of what has worked for others with similar plans and how you did it. My son is very good about breast or bottle and always has been. He doesn’t care which one it is, he just loves food.
