Saying goodbye to the pump

I work full time and I'm gone about 10 hours a day (including travel time). My son turned 1 on January 14th. I've been slowly weaning from the pump, but I plan to continue breastfeeding while I'm with him. If you've done this, can you tell me your experience? Did you have any problems with it? As much as I hate that pump, I feel kinda like I should continue pumping at least once a day. Yesterday I went 10 or 11 hours without pumping for the first time. When I got home, my son only nursed from one side, so I pumped on the other side and only got 2 ounces after not pumping all day! I thought I would have had a lot more milk than that! I'm afraid that I might mess up my supply.
