Hyperemesis Gravidarum - UK

I am 9w 0D - This is my second pregnancy. I suffered with HG in my first and this time it’s hitting me just as hard. I’ve had severe sickness since 4w just like last time.

Last week at 8W I visited my GP and explained how I’ve been feeling... I was brushed off with “it’s morning sickness.. get used to it”

Explained my history (which surely he should have had) and his reply was “you’re not 12 weeks yet. I won’t touch you until you are”

I finally got him to prescribe me cyclizine which hasn’t touched the sickness so far. I’m drained and hungry. I have a 2 year old who’s after my attention 24/7 and honestly.. I just need someone to tell me this is worth it.

If one more person tells me to ‘just relax..’ or ‘it’ll pass’ or better yet “have you tried ginger” I’m going to scream!

I’m sure they think I love having my head down a toilet 40 times a day and being this hungry..
