Faint Positive in Doctors Office
Hello ladies!! I am currently 5 weeks 6 day pregnant. My last period was December 25, 2017 and I’m pretty sure I ovulated on day 16 or 17 ( I never got a Peak fertile day win my opk, but I did have cm, cramping and very small amount t of spotting on day 17) I got my 1st digital positive pregnancy test on January 30 and the 2nd on the 31st. I knew I was pregnant, my boobs were sore, a little queasy, and I was bloated beyond belief! As the days have gone on I haven’t felt as sick and am struggling to feel “pregnant” other than the bloating. I went to the doctor today and my confirmation test was positive, but very faint. They repeated and the second was the same. Not what they had expected at this point. I have had some pain in my left side and cramping that I attributed to ovarian cysts due to PCOS, which have subsided in the last week but no spotting what so ever. The doctor was unable to see anything on the bedside ultrasound so she ordered blood work to check my hormone levels. I wouldn’t be so concerned except she literally slipped and said “ you have all the makings of a early miscarriage, then corrected herself and said I mean early pregnancy.” Ugh! Has anyone ever been through this? This is my 4th pregnancy and my concern initially was, why did I feel so good - I’m hoping it not because I’m losing it 😓
