new step-parent here!

So, long story short, my SO’s little girl has been living with us now since the end of December.

The Story: She was taken away from her bio-mom shortly after she was born (born in March 2016) and lived with a foster family until she came to us. My SO had no idea of the situation until social services called him early last year (when she was basically a year old). His ex (bio-mom) broke up with him when she was still pregnant and told him the baby wasn’t his because she was cheating on him and then absolutely refused to talk to him.

I absolutely adore having her here with us and it’s the most amazing time ever! I’ve known since I was young that I wanted to be a mom, and being a step-mom is just as amazing! She’s the sweetest, cutest, smartest little girl. She takes after her Dad in so many ways. Just had to come here and say how much I love this! Being a step-parent is pretty cool. 😁❤️
