Should I get this infant car seat?

I’ve done a ton of research and I think this is my favorite seat! I’ve looked for negative reviews and really can’t find anything!! I love that it goes up to 35 inches because my husband and I are both tall and have tall parents. Every other infant seat I’ve found only goes up to 32 inches. I know I don’t want a convertible car seat to start. Please comment your opinions if you’ve owned this seat! I know it has a small canopy but I’ve already ordered a custom one so I don’t care about that. Thank you!

I do not want a convertible car seat. I know everyone doesn’t want to spend $300 on an infant seat but it’s worth it to me. I’m looking for opinions from people who have owned this seat or similar Chicco infant seats. Telling me it’s not worth the money when you’ve never owned the seat isn’t very helpful. I said I’m the post I do not want a convertible seat even if some parents prefer to just get one from the start.

We have the Chicco keyfit30 and love it, this car seat came out after our daughter was born. We love all the Chicco products we’ve tried.

We got a convertible baby seat, it’s from 0-4yrs. It lasts for 4yrs and your not wasting money on another baby seat when the baby is 6 months, it grows with the baby.

I don’t own it, but I tried it out at BabiesRUs and it is HEAVY. If you’re planning on just leaving it in the car and carrying your baby another way then it wouldn’t be an issue. Just something that deterred me from it when we went to try seats out.

I thought a higher weighted car seat was a good idea but I would never carry a child that heavy in it, it's just too hard.

If you can afford it go for it! I loved mine, especially being able to carry my sleeping baby in it or clip onto a pram! So easy. But you’ll only use it for a few months.

I love my Chicco Keyfit!!!  it isn't heavy and is awesome to carry around or leave in the car.  This should be a good one too.

I personally wouldn’t. We spent $60 on the graco click connect at target and it was brand new. They only use it until like 12 months, maybe. I wouldn’t waste $200. If you have the means and want to though that’s great! Go for it if you like it 😁 I spent the big money on other things lol
