Is 30 weeks too early to have a baby shower?

I had mine at 39 weeks and was still sorting thing 5 weeks later when I had my daughter. I think 30 weeks is a great time to have it. Not super early, but still early enough to not be miserable, be able to enjoy it, and take your time going through things and sending thank you notes.

I'm having mine at exactly 30 weeks. I think its perfect timing so you have enough energy, arent Super miserable and have enough time to put the gifts away amd purchase anything else that you didnt get.

My mom wanted me to have ours around 37 weeks and that still seems too late for me. I need time to go through everything, write thank you cards, and go out and buy the stuff that we still need.

Ours is about that.  I think 32 weeks.  April 8th is the date.  And we are due on the 24th of May.  I need that time to go through everything and plan.  May seems too late for me.  I’m so afraid I’ll go into early labor and not be ready, so for peace of mind I want it done earlier rather than later. ❤️

Because of everyone’s schedules mine will be at 29 Weeks! It works out for me so I won’t be too uncomfortable and large during it too!

I'm having mine at 31, wanted 30 but dates couldn't work. I find it smart! you can still enjoy the shower without feeling bloated and hating life and you have plenty of time to organize things you'll be getting and purchasing things you still need but wasn't gifted :)

I had mine at 32 weeks , it was perfect because I ended up having to get induced 3 weeks later unexpectedly 😭

I have mine planned for when I’m 35 weeks. Mainly because we have so much going on with birthdays and such that it pretty much had to land on the weekend it did. I say do it whenever you want! Lol
