Parenting...

Br

I know children do not come with manuals and everyone parents different. I have a son and have done everything by myself since the day he was born. Longer than that if you count the whole 9 months I was pregnant. Once I told his dad I was pregnant, I never heard from him again. Parenting isn’t easy. I’ll be the first the admit that I’m not perfect and I’m not the perfect mommy, but my son thinks I am. I try to be the best mommy and role model for my son.

Anyway, here lately when I go into a grocery store, I have heard a lot of women holler and curse at their children telling them to “shut up”, “sit their a**es down”, etc. Today, I heard a lady tell her, what looked like 3-4 year old son to sit his a** down and shut up. My question is, does anyone think that is appropriate? Like I said, I know everyone parents different and I’m not judging. I just want to hear thoughts from other people.
