Husband not attracted to you anymore?

Anyone else’ spouse just generally not attracted to you anymore? I feel like I’m completely alone in this. After we had my son things were great, he wouldn’t let go of me. But after 5 months went by it’s like I can’t even get him to kiss me anymore. Almost 10 months pp now and I feel uglier than I have ever felt in my life. The constant fighting and barely any physical contact has torn me down. We have been together for 6 years and this has never happened before.

I feel like my husband and I are like room mates now! We haven't had sex since I got pregnant and for a while I was glad because I tore pretty bad but she's almost a year now. It's getting a little ridiculous lol

Its a huge change bringing another life into this world and keeping it alive. It is seriously draining in all aspects. Maybe try a designated date night every week without the baby to reconnect with each other? And don't forget about yourself. What makes you feel uglier that you have ever felt before? Remember to fill your bucket otherwise you are left with nothing if you are giving it all away. My situation is similar, but its that I want nothing to do with my fiance. I just dont have the energy to put into our sex life anymore, and honestly its not even pleasurable to me like it used to be from all the lovely damage done from delivering vaginally. I feel like every day we are just going through the motions, and the broken sleep is making it so much worse. I dread the thought of going back to work full time come April.

My husband doesn’t make me feel less attractive. He’s still affectionate towards me. It’s me. I feel less attractive since giving birth because I still have some weight to lose, my hair texture has changed, my skin isn’t so great, and just the way I dress. Nothing seems to look good on me anymore. But we have to remember to take care of ourselves and pamper ourselves. Do things that make us feel attractive, whether it’s working out, buying new clothes, getting your hair done, getting a wax...whatever. When you feel better about yourself, your confidence will soar, and he will be more attracted to that energy.

I think it's pretty normal to go through a rough patch. Your not alone. Things go up and down fast in our home. And it's just part of the change, we are busy and tired and that means less patience and no time. But try to keep talking to each other. Find time to do things that make you feel good. If you feel good about yourself it'll make everything seem better. Radiates outward. I think without talking we some times project our own insecurities onto our partners and then don't realize why they seem more distant. It has been very very hard for us to keep communication going. We would try and it just didn't seem to work. Just keep at it.. even the failure in it can still be working together.

Have you talked to him about it? I’m huge on communication. It could be that he’s feeling mixed emotions from you. My husband and I had to have a talk about having sex again because we were both nervous to try. My OB said it’s totally normal to feel scared or anxious—kind of like your first time again. I bought a few things from a Pure Romance party to make things fun!

I think we all go through some type of morning of our old relationship compared to a relationship now we had tried to have sex a couple times once we got the OK but then after that sleepy aggressions happened I went back to work he was working more again we're spoke tired and emotional and stressed we haven't tried for a while either I think we still love each other but I think everyone has to do their part in order to make an effort to communicate and have date nights and have us time it is super hard and I think we just have to keep trying every day
