I have been in a relationship with my fiancé for 3 years. Every time we have sex recently I feel so dirty and disgusting afterwards. I think it's just because I recently decided to go without sex till I'm married and I failed. It religiously is wrong to me. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or I'm just crazy

Sex is a beautiful, intimate thing between two souls. It’s combining love and passion; it should never make you feel dirty. It’s human nature to want to have sex. Literally built into our DNA. People who decide to wait have to force themselves into that mindset, but the urges are still there. You love this man and are going to spend the rest of your life with him, don’t feel ashamed to be doing what our bodies want us to do. That being said, I feel like religion restricts our free will and human nature so I don’t necessarily agree with it but I don’t down the ones who do. I just hope this gives you a different way to look at it.

*UNPOPULAR OPINION 👉* There's nothing wrong with wanting to abstain UNTIL marriage. If you feel bad because you feel like you failed, and that's why you're not enjoying it...  you need to talk to your fiance about how you're feeling and what you're wanting to do. If you're engaged, then he should know you and you should be comfortable talking to him openly. Also, just because you didn't stick with your goal, that doesn't mean that you can't start over and wait until the wedding. Move the wedding up if you have to. You shouldn't be suffering through sex because you're not comfortable with what you're doing.
