Has he got HIV...

So recently my boyfriend and I were out for a cycle and we found a guy laying face down on the pavement. He'd fallen off of his bike and had a nasty few cuts on his head, my boyfriend held his head and put him in the recovery position whilst I phoned for an ambulance.

Long story short is my boyfriend had a deep cut on his finger and the guy's blood was all over him and went into his cut... My boyfriend has been down the hospital to get a blood test, he's got to go back in 3 and 6 months time to have follow ups but until then we can only use condoms (for very obvious reasons). Has anyone been through something as scary as this before? I'm really worried the stress and worry might take a toll on us and our sex life might go downhill as a result of my being so worried and my boyfriend doesn't like using condoms so he may want sex less then before this...

UPDATE: To everyone who has said I'm only worried about sex and not his health or mental state, he has initiated sex with me since this and I asked him to stop because I'm so worried about it all. I know how frustrated he can get and I'm more worried he'll get really frustrated and bothered more than me
