I am late but scared to test

Gabriella

I am officially 4 days late my next expected menstrual Date was 2/08. I have regular 28 day cycle and I have PCOS which was diagnosed when I was 16 I will be 22 on 2/22 (golden birthday). My SO and I have been together for 8 years and we fell pregnant upon losing my virginity at 14 which resulted in a miscarriage. We later had another loss from ectopic pregnancy after senior graduation. After that we became very rocky and been on and off until last year after living in another state for a year to heal and focus on my self. Now that we are officially back together we stopped using condoms and we have always wanted to start a family and our baby fever is mutual. However I have been a little more productive in planning for my career and future and I am not ready to have a baby for maybe another 2 years give or take. Although we have never been in a rush to have a baby we are completely reckless, irresponsible (I know) but we love each other and do plan to Wed so we like to think that it’s a special surprise. I have big plans for my birthday and Valentine’s Day which include expensive Liquor ($480 worth) that I did intend on consuming lol especially because it consumed my wallet. I had my heart set on AF showing up on 2/8 so I could get it over with before Valentines Day. Now that I’m 4 days late I’m getting more worried because 1.) I am not in a state of mind to process a big announcements or crushing disappointment . 2.) I can’t get lit on my birthday ☹️ I haven’t had any symptoms really except sore boobs on and off, also the day my period was due I did experience mild cramping which I found unusual because mild is the last word I would use to describe my cramps. Depending on how light or heavy my flow my cramps normally start at a level 4 the worse feels like 8 on a scale with 10 as the highest. Sorry for the long story but I just wanted to vent and here some positive and encouraging feedback. Has anyone experience this kind of situation? What happened?
