Water breaking/contractions 31 weeks actually a UTI

So I wanted to put this out in case anyone else has this problem because I had never heard of it! So last night I started having gushes of clear odor less fluid. Like every couple minutes there was enough to soak through toilet paper and I had to wear a pad. Well I also had been having what I thought were Braxton hicks contractions. So of course we went to labor and delivery to be seen. Well after they did all the tests they confirmed I wasn’t in labor (sac in tact and no dilation) but it was just a UTI! I had no other normal UTI symptoms. And it gave me what my doctor called normal contractions, they started getting pretty painful at the hospital and were lasting about 2 minutes! They gave me some medications to help with the UTI and the contractions and sent me home. But I am glad I went in because she said the regular contractions could have put me into preterm labor.
