My daughter seems to be against gays
My little girl has asked about what was happening on tv and the news in Australia as the gay marriage vote was a massive thing. So I told her being 8. But she wasn’t impressed at all. To her babies can not be made. I explained no but they can adopt and there’s so many babies out there in need of love. My husband and I haven’t never said anything to be against it. We are 100% supportive of happiness and love equality. Tonight she seen a very feminine guy on tv and it made her angry and she walked out, I don’t know what to do at the moment. She would never say anything. She goes to a Christian school so I don’t know if she’s hearing MEN AND WOMEN a lot. I just feel bad. I have no friends or family who are against it either so we hasn’t picked it up from us.
She is a sweet and intelligent little girl but this has me thrown on how to actually handle it. I am hoping as she gets older she will grow to understand it more.
