Slightly awkward question

Has anyone conceived in the open fertility window not just the day before ovulation? That you know of... this is a bit awkward to say but my partner and I don’t have the most active sex life, we love each other but both work long hours. Have been TTC 6 months but when the ‘most fertile day’ comes along he is too tired or not home yet 😟 I know I sound a bit pathetic but hoping I’m not the only one? Xx
