Breastfeeding
Hi mommies. I want to ask your opinions on my breastfeeding routine. My 5.5 month old is EBF and eats about 8 times a day. He eats before and after every nap and naps three times a day. Sometimes he eats a lot, sometimes a little, whatever he wants. Sometimes he will skip an after nap feeding if the nap was short. Here are the times I will feed him on an average day, estimated:
7:00 am
8:45
11:00
1:00
2:30
4:45
5:30
6:45 pm
Sometimes he sleeps through the night and sometimes he will eat at around 2 am.
Does this all seem normal? Apparently 5 month old babies are "supposed" to eat every 3-4 hours but mine eats every 1-3. He is gaining weight, sleeps well, wet and dirty diapers all day, and is generally a happy baby. Please reassure me?
